Program - 19 is a 4 week-long innovation program that aims to use creativity,
entrepreneurship and innovative-mindset to aid businesses, government, health-workers, and everyone else in
battling the virus and its consequences.
Many of the consequences have been identified, and the government and experts have implemented various measures to tackle these issues. Yet, it is clear that the COVID-19 outbreak has caused many challenges to society that are yet to be addressed, such as loneliness, within economics, education and more.
The question is then: How can young people help solve these issues across borders?
YSI is a recognised organisation that has completed 10 different innovation programs since 2016, with more than 250 people across the globe participating. The entrepreneurs of the programmes have created many initiatives such as Waymore, AquaSolis Global and InforMed. In just two days, more than 500 youth from 62 different countries have applied to be part of PROGRAM - 19. Everyone with the common aim of solving the issues created by the COVID-19 outbreak through social entrepreneurship.Read more
This program is at the core what YSI's mission is, which is why we have allocated
resources to contribute to this programme. With that said, this is not something that we will be able to do
alone. We are therefore looking for actors that wish to invest in potential solutions, mentors who wish to
contribute in the development and the quality assurance of the projects, as well as marketing partners.
